Selling to Nonprofits

Make the sale about their missionAre you selling a product or service to nonprofits? Make it about their mission. Don’t make your opening pitch overly technical. It’s not about you landing a sale, it’s about you providing a solution to save or impact lives.

Selling web solutions? Try “We increase online donations so you can save more lives.” Or, “We build a website that allows you to share your story and impact lives.”

Simple. About them. About the mission.

(Same hold true in fundraising and all sales. If you don’t make it about them, you won’t land the sale.)
